Creating your LSM Plan
The Planning sheet stores your individual LSM Plans. Planning allows you to associate Partners, create Objectives, Targets, and Strategies, and determine detail activities to achieve LSM Plan Objectives.
There are 7 fundamental principles to consider and cover within the Local Store Marketing Guide. The principles include the ability to:
- Recognize LSM
- Monopolize your trade area
- Determine potential partners
- Brainstorm LSM ideas together
- Understanding your partner's customers
- Planning
- Tracking the Results
The Local Store Marketing Guide allows you to achieve all seven points of the 7 fundamental principles in one package, AND we have included over 100 LSM plan ideas for you.
Creating LSM plans within the LSM Guide is easy - after you have set up your partner in the partner master files section, you can easily add them to your plan. The object is to first meet (assuming you have completed Principles 1 through 3) with your Partner and brainstorm ideas together. Once you have agreed upon up to at least three different proposals, do your price point analysis and breakdowns. What is feasible and what is not? Once you have an idea in mind, it's time to formulate an objective, target and strategy to focus the plan.
